new 50mm lens

i just got a nikon e series 50mm 1.8 lens from a pawn shop… its fully manual and my digital nikon doesn’t support through the lens metering for this 30 year old lens so its going to take some practice to get things to work for me. the focal length difference between the 50mm and the 28mm i usually use is pretty different, but it makes portraits look awesome. this is probably the best shot i have taken since i got it yesterday afternoon. pin point focus! i am really excited to see where this lens will take me.
